Daniel Cohen

2012 - Started playing the Alto Saxophone at the Kfar Saba Conservatory at the age of 11. He played in the Kfar Saba band from the sixth to the eighth grade.

At the age of 13, he went on to play the tenor saxophone and was invited to play
with the municipal high school with high school students, the first tenor.
2017-2018 he received a scholarship from Zfunot Tarbut.

Work Experience:
2017-2019 Private lessons, theory, ear training, saxophone.
2019 Conservatory Tel Aviv (Shtriker) Teaching saxophone to children.
at the Meiron School in Tel Aviv.
2019 Conservatory Tel Aviv (Shtriker) Ensemble Instructor.

Competitions:
2014 - Rostov Russia, competing in the International competition for jazz and won first
place for ages 16-21.
2017 - Rostov Russia, competing in the International competition for jazz and won second
place for ages 21-30 Kfar Saba Wind Competition won first place for ages 16-19.

2018 - Won the Young Jazz Competition of the Red Festival in the winter
and summer of 2018 - the ensemble performed at the 2018 Red Sea Jazz festivals.

2016 - Humber Collage of Music - Toronto Canada - two weeks - full scholarship.

first tenor in the Big Band - full Scholarship.
